There I was sitting on the stone wall of my nan’s garden, camera in hand waiting for a photo opportunity. The crows and curlews flying from field to field with two buzzards over head. I was concentrating on a rabbit that was running up and down the edge of the field when I heard a bird calling. I turned around and a dunnock was perched on a bramble about 3 metres away. I got the camera and shot off about 30 images before, after about 2 minutes it was frightened off. A nice way to end the day with a close encounter of the bird kind.
